Adoption

In order to be considered for an adoption you must provide the following criteria:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.

  • Provide phone numbers of 3 non-family reference.

  • Provide vet reference, if you have a vet.

  • Provide proof of vaccines for existing pets in the home - rabies for dogs and cats, FVRCP for cats. This includes roommate's pets.

  • All current cats in the home must be spayed or neutered.

  • Own your own home or provide landlord's written consent to have a pet.

  • Driver's license or state ID.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccination, dewormer, flea medication, and a voucher for a free wellness vet from our participating vets.

Each year our cats and kittens require:

 

  • 7,300 pounds of dry food and

  • 2,300 pounds of canned food

  • 2,100 pounds of kitty litter

  • Spay/neuter and Vet Care

The numbers in our care varies but we can house up to 75 and we care for more via foster families. We are only limited by funds and foster care.
