COVID19 is impacting every aspect of our lives. It is a strange, uncertain time and SOCKS has to protect our staff and the public, as well as keep the kitties happy and healthy. To that end, we've decided to close to the public to walk-in visitors. We will be taking hourly appointments via our Facebook page for visitors to the kitties in the hopes that they find their fur-ever family member.
At this time we are asking our volunteers to stay home, for their safety and ours. We will, of course, accept deliveries and donation drop-offs, which we desperately need.
We are spotlighting several cats each week, possibly each day, on FB live. We also have created SOCKS Adoptable Fosters page where you can see the adoptable cats and kittens in the care of our fantastic foster families.
The Thrift Store is closed to regular business but we are taking shopper appointments via our SOCKS Thrift Store FB page with precautions being taken to protect the public and ourselves.
While we are closed to the public it doesn't stop the day to day needs, supplies are limited and funds are stretched thinner with the loss of the SOCKS Thrift Store income. Please DONATE (funds are badly needed). Or help with our needs by shopping from our Amazon wishlist
We all hope this crisis is short-lived. We will miss the day-to-day interaction with visitors. Thank you for your patience as we work our way through this situation. And, as always,
