Our Mission -

To provide a healthy, no-kill shelter for cats and kittens awaiting adoption.

  1. BulletAt SOCKS™, we are a non-profit organization dedicated to the felines with whom we all share our lives.  We value treating them compassionately, with dignity, respect, and understanding.  We care about their quality of life and strive to treat our feline guests as we would our own pets.

  2. BulletSOCKS™ provides a caring, home-like environment, free of cages, for over 100 cats and kittens throughout the year. Cats with special requirements are cared for in an environment best suited for their needs.  In 2010, we found homes for over 450 cats and kittens.

  3. BulletSOCKS™ was founded in 1993 in Fort Walton Beach as an IRS Code 501(c)-3 non-profit group. We rely on our many volunteers to help keep our administrative costs and part-time salaries to a minimum.

Shelter Hours:

Monday through Friday

12:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturday only

11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Thrift Store:

Wednesday through Saturday

10:00 to 5:00
